Glenn Iannoccone is a retired Fire Marshall for the City of Norwalk. He currently is the Emergency Response Coordinator for the Norwalk Health Department part time.
Glenn attend Norwalk High School and received his Bachelors of science in fire science administration. He also received a Masters of Public Administration at the University of New Haven.
Glenn has served on the Norwalk Board of Education as well as Common Council and is seasoned when it comes to policy and procedure. Glenn served on the Norwalk High School Alumni Association, Norwalk Rotary Club and Norwalk Historical Society. Glenn was active with the Marching Bears, Inc and served in leadership roles with many of these organizations. Glenn is running because he sees a great need for balance in our local government and was recently inspired by concerns regarding proposed zoning changes that would effect many parts of our city. As a retired Fire Marshall is very aware of the need to ensure enforcement of current ordinances and housing issues.
Glenn has been married for 50 years and he and his wife have four children and seven grandchildren.
When elected, Glenn will have plenty of time to dedicate to residents and research to implore positive and effective policy.
