Tricia became a resident of Norwalk in 1996 and fell in love with the city that she has called home for the last 26+
years. She and her husband Chris built a business here and have raised 3 wonderful children. One of Tricia’s sons attended King School on a sports scholarship and has now graduated and is pursuing a career in management. Her other daughter graduated from Brien McMahon and is a pediatric nurse in Atlanta. Her youngest daughter is currently a student at Brien McMahon and is a proud Senator! Over the years, Tricia has been very active in our schools both as a parent and as a professional. She began her journey of involvement at the elementary level by being an active member of the schools PTO. This continued into Middle School when her two older children were at Ponus Ridge. Tricia was very involved with youth sports in Norwalk and has been blessed to meet so many in our community as a result. Tricia was elected to the Brien McMahon School Governance Council in 2020 and was re-elected last year. In these capacities she has been part of interview committees, budget approvals, school quality review, attendance policies, school climate, website design as well as the discussion around the needs of students and staff.
Tricia continues to work with administrators, teachers and parents at Brien McMahon around common goals. It is this same experience and work ethic that she will bring to the Common Council.
Currently, Tricia is the Director of Elementary School Based Programs for The Carver. She manages an amazing team of over 200 dedicated staff. She continues to work with each buildings’ administration to offer quality programming. It is through her leadership that she has been able to expand programs in the city. Many that know Tricia know that she is a firm believer in consensus and working together for a better future. There is no doubt that Tricia’s unique experience would be an asset to the City of Norwalk Common
Council and the Norwalk Community.
